Created as part of the Starlight Dance Academy uniform range, these gym leggings give dancers and gymnasts a smart, coordinated look while allowing excellent freedom of movement. Fabric information

These leggings are made using high-quality Motion performance fabrics, selected for comfort, stretch and durability. Children’s sizes from 3-4 Years up to 11-12 Years use Motion250 Fabric, a lightweight 220gsm stretch fabric made from 74.5% polyester and 25.5% spandex.

Adult sizes use Motion320 Fabric, a higher-compression 320gsm stretch fabric made from 84% polyester and 16% spandex. This fabric is squat-tested, buttery-soft and designed to provide ample stretch without feeling restrictive.

Important sizing information

Please check the size guide carefully before ordering to ensure the best fit. These are fitted performance leggings, so choosing the correct size is important for comfort, coverage and freedom of movement during training.

Care and fabric note

As with many sublimated performance fabrics, pilling may occur if the garment comes into contact with rough surfaces such as mats, grips or floor mats. The back and bottom areas of the garment may be more prone to pilling during regular use. To help keep your leggings looking their best, avoid rubbing against rough surfaces where possible and follow the recommended washing instructions.

Washing instructions

We recommend washing garments separately, turning inside out and hand washing in cold water with a mild liquid detergent. Rinse immediately and do not allow the garment to soak. Hang to dry after washing. Do not use fabric softeners, dry clean or iron.

Our leggings have been carefully designed by Gymnastic professionals using high quality, lightweight and breathable fabrics.

For leggings aged 3-4 years up to 11-12 we use our Motion250 Fabric - 74.5% Polyester / 25.5% Spandex, 220gsm

For all sizes 13-14 years and above (adult sizes) we use our Motion320 fabric - 84% Polyester / 16% Spandex, 320gsm
This is a high-compression fabric. These leggings are squat-tested, buttery-soft and built with comfort and performance in mind, it gives you ample stretch without feeling constricted.

NOTE: Pilling may occur on both our Motion250 and Motion350 sublimated fabrics when it comes in contact with any other rough surface (examples are mats, grips, floor mats, etc.). The back/bottom area of the garment tends to pill easier than other areas. Unfortunately, this is an issue we cannot avoid due to the nature of the fabric. Velocity Pro Sport will not be responsible for replacing or repairing your garment if pilling occurs.
