Topaz Dancentre Launches New Club Uniform Partnership with Velocity Pro Sport
Velocity Pro Sport is delighted to welcome Topaz Dancentre as one of our latest club partners, following the launch of a brand-new coordinated dancewear collection created specifically for Topaz dancers.
The new uniform has been developed collaboratively by Topaz Dancentre Principal Ann and the Velocity Pro Sport design team, bringing together Topaz’s distinctive club identity with a fresh range of practical, modern dancewear.
Featuring a striking combination of black and vibrant Topaz pink, the collection has been designed to give dancers a professional and instantly recognisable club look while providing greater choice across different classes, training sessions, competitions and performances.

A New Topaz Look for September
The new Topaz Dancentre collection will become part of the club’s uniform offering from September, giving dancers additional options that have been specifically designed to coordinate with the club’s existing range.
Rather than replacing everything Topaz already offers, the new garments have been developed to work alongside the club’s established uniform.
This means dancers can choose the pieces that best suit their individual classes and training while maintaining a consistent and recognisable Topaz Dancentre identity.
Ideal for Technique, Street, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Competition Teams
A key part of the brief was to create a versatile club uniform collection that could be used across a wide range of activities at Topaz Dancentre.
The new kit is ideal for dancers taking part in:

- Musical Theatre classes
- Competition Teams
By developing a coordinated selection of garments rather than a single uniform piece, Topaz dancers have greater flexibility to choose the combination that works best for their style of training, rehearsals, performances and competitions.
At the same time, every piece shares the same distinctive black and Topaz pink identity, helping maintain a strong and professional club appearance across the different areas of the Dancentre.

Designed Alongside Principal Ann
Creating bespoke club kit works best when the people who know the club are directly involved in the design process.
For the new Topaz collection, Principal Ann worked closely alongside the Velocity Pro Sport team, helping shape the colours, styling and garment combinations that would work best for Topaz dancers.
This collaborative approach means the finished range has not simply been selected from a generic catalogue and branded with a club logo.
Instead, the collection has been developed specifically around Topaz Dancentre, its dancers and its existing uniform offering.
That was particularly important when creating a new range for September that could offer dancers something fresh while still coordinating naturally with the garments already worn by club members.
Merseyside Businesses Working Together
There is another part of this partnership that we are particularly proud of.
Topaz Dancentre and Velocity Pro Sport are both based in Merseyside, making this a genuinely local collaboration between two organisations from the same part of the North West.
The new Topaz club kit is designed and manufactured by Velocity Pro Sport here in the UK, bringing together a local dance school and a local British sportswear manufacturer.
From the first design discussions with Principal Ann through to artwork development, printing, cutting and manufacture, the new Topaz collection is brought to life by the Velocity team here in Britain.
For us, there is something particularly rewarding about seeing Merseyside businesses supporting one another and working together to create a new uniform collection for dancers within our own region.
It is a great example of what can be achieved when local clubs and British manufacturers work directly together.
Proudly Manufactured in the UK
Velocity Pro Sport specialises in developing bespoke club uniforms and teamwear for gymnastics clubs, dance schools and other sporting and performance organisations across the UK.
By manufacturing in Britain, we are able to work closely with clubs during the design and development process and create collections around their individual colours, branding and requirements.
The new Topaz Dancentre uniform collection is a great example of that approach.
It combines Topaz’s distinctive identity with a coordinated range designed around the needs of its dancers, while giving members even more choice for Technique, Street, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Competition Teams from September.
