European Championships Munich 2022: Great Britain's gymnasts claim stunning men's team gold
There was further medal victory for the Great Britain Gymanstics men's team at the final of the European Championships in Munich today. Great Britain stunned the crowds with an amazing perrformance to win gold.
The team included Joe Fraser, James Hall, Jake Jarman, Courtney Tulloch and Giarnni Regini-Moran who dominated to finish a clear distance over silver medalists Italy by six whole marks.
This is the first British team to win the European title since 2012.
Britain won with a score of 254.295, as Turkey earned bronze behind Italy.
"The way we pulled together today really showed our character. We have worked for months together through the tough times and the good," Fraser told BBC Sport.
"To deliver the routines we did today under that amount of pressure - I'm proud of each and every one of them," he added.
Hall said: "It's just been a pleasure. I've enjoyed every single moment going round with these guys.
"To be rewarded with this, it's just a dream come true."
