This is leotard is made from our premium Black Nylon fabric. It has a high density warp knit (not see through) whilst remaining lightweight and breathable to the wearer.

Neckline Binding

This leotard has a turned-and-coverstitched neckline with no separate binding tape. The neckline edge is folded to the inside and secured with a twin-needle coverstitch, leaving two parallel rows of stitching on the outside.

Suitable for Ballet Examinations

This plain sleeveless black leotard is suitable for use across a range of RAD, IDTA and ISTD ballet examinations and grades, subject to the uniform requirements set by the dancer’s teacher, school and examination syllabus.

It is particularly suitable for:

IDTA ballet examinations, including Grades 1–5 when worn with the required tights, shoes and accessories
ISTD Cecchetti Classical Ballet Grades 1–6, where a plain, sleeveless, single-colour leotard may be worn
Selected ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet examinations where suitable clothing has been chosen by the teacher
Selected RAD graded and vocational examinations where a black sleeveless leotard is permitted by the teacher or dance school

Ballet examination uniform requirements can vary according to the examination board, syllabus, grade and individual dance school. Please confirm the required colour and style with your ballet teacher before ordering.

Our leotards have been carefully designed by Gymnastic professionals using high quality, lightweight and breathable fabrics.

Motion250 Matt Sublimation Fabric
84% Polyester / 16% Spandex, 220gsm

NOTE: Pilling may occur on Motion250 sublimated fabrics when it comes in contact with any other rough surface (examples are mats, grips, floor mats, etc.). The back/bottom area of the garment tends to pill easier than other areas. Unfortunately, this is an issue we cannot avoid due to the nature of the fabric. Velocity Pro Sport will not be responsible for replacing or repairing your garment if pilling occurs.

Turn garment(s) inside out.
Use a mild liquid detergent and gently hand wash in cold water. Rinse immediately.
DO NOT allow garment to soak.
Hang to dry.
DO NOT use fabric softeners.
DO NOT dry clean.
DO NOT iron.
