Information about the Fabric

These gym shorts are made from Mystique Axis Polyester Fabric, a high-quality stretch fabric with a striking shiny foil-style finish. The fabric has been chosen to give the shorts a bold, eye-catching look while still allowing excellent movement for gymnastics, dance, acro and activewear.

Mystique Axis fabric has a smooth stretch feel and a performance finish, making it ideal for garments that need to move comfortably with the body during training, stretching, tumbling and routines.

Fabric composition:
80% Polyester / 20% Spandex
Approx. 200gsm

The fabric offers good flexibility, comfort and recovery, helping the shorts keep their shape while providing freedom of movement.

Please note: Mystique and foil-finish fabrics should be treated with care. Pilling, rubbing or dulling of the shiny surface may occur if the garment comes into repeated contact with rough surfaces, Velcro, grips, mats, flooring or other abrasive materials. This is a natural characteristic of this type of performance fabric and is not classed as a fault.

Care Instructions

Regardless of your leotard or apparel, Velocity recommends hand washing all garments per the instructions outlined below.

All garment(s) must be washed separately.
Turn garment(s) inside out.
Use a mild liquid detergent and gently hand wash in cold water. Rinse immediately.
DO NOT allow garment to soak.
Hang to dry.
DO NOT use fabric softeners.
DO NOT dry clean.
DO NOT iron.
